the comics that i love seem to be unfairly tossed in with the dregs of their craft and as a result some pretty stupid shit has to be dealt with.
this thought process seemed to be going so well last night in my ativan®-addled mind...
what i think i'm trying to say is, when i tell someone about stella and they're like, "oh have you heard of __________ * ?" i want to be all... ಠ_ಠ "No." but there's no way of getting out of that situation without tears being shed/swallowed.
most people listen to comedy to forget about how shitty their meaningless lives are.
but the comics that i and others similarly afflicted listen to, already know how fucking miserable we all are, and make a point of somehow exposing it in a cathartic enough way that makes me explode with laughter, mutual understanding and most importantly, headaches.
do you FUCKING UNDERsTAND?! god damn it, nevermind. i don't even know why we bother anymore.
