trolls vs. zombies

have you ever read the comments on imdb.com or visited the message boards for the television program Mythbusters?  performing either of those tasks can be a herculean effort in tolerance.  can people truly be that stupid or ill-informed?  i'll focus on examples from the MB forums.

"Do germs spread when you "waterfall" out of a can already dranken out of by someone else?"

"If one person slides down a water slide will they have enough time to put a razorblade in the slide for the other person to come down next and get cut by the razorblade."

"can a lego gun with ruber bands really kill somebody?if you guys need help type in youtube "lego gun" and that should help you build it

i find it extremely hard to take that someone who is able to create a login/password on a website fails to have even the most rudimentary understanding of the world around them.

does that mean these people are all trolls?

what's worse?  a world of idiots or a world of people pretending to be idiots?

i just got a new iphone app (i know, right?) and it is super sweet!  it's called pano ($3) and it allows one to combine multiple photographs into one creating a panorama (hence the name, get it?).

this was the first one i tried and it turned out pretty sweet!!!

vox phantom xii stereo!

I recently had my deceased uncle's 12 string guitar restored to a state of playability.  my research indicates that it is around 40 years old (the serial # is 300369).  it has many knobs (tone & volume for each half of each pickup).  it can play in mono or stereo.  it smells strongly of patchouli.  it makes playing david bowie and the decemberists a real treat.  the six string version was played by ian curtis.  i've never posessed such a fancy guitar before and i'm just tickled!
