that's far too long to go without a post. i've probably already lost even my most hardcore readers.
anywho, i have a 3 cats now. they keep me up all night, either by sleeping where my body usually sleeps or by running around fighting each other. why don't i just move them so i can sleep comfortably, you might ask? because i am so desperate for them to like me.
the littlest cat and the newest addition to our family is extremely cute. however, this cuteness is not without its cost. grrr, as she is known, is quite flatulent. it is completely silent and comes without warning, but there is no mistaking that stench eminating from that innocuous looking cheerio beneath her black fur.
she is very small, so small that it doesn't feel like you are holding anything when you caress her in your loving hands. she growls (hence the name) and freaks out more and more until she realizes that simply growling won't stop you from harassing her, then she breaks out the chemical weapons and ultimately wins her freedom.
initally, lolly and lilly both hated grrr. hissing accompanied many a standoff until after enough time elapsed and butt sniffing occurred that lilly warmed up to lil' ol' grrr. now they run around all of the time and keep both brook and me awake with their mock battles. but alas, it is so cute that is almost impossible to care. and if lilly didn't weigh over 200 pounds we probably wouldn't even notice them pouncing away on our bedsheets. did i mention lilly has gained some weight? some serious weight? for the runt of the litter you wouldn't expect such heft, but now her tiny head is all that's left of her once diminuitive size.
and what about lolly, dearest lolly. now you have two roommates you hate. all you want is a large outside to explore and a warm lap to come home to and none of this pestering and peturbation. as she tries to sleep she is awoken by grrr's attempts to attack her tail and by lilly's body-pouncing and voracious face-licking.
anyways, what i am trying to say is i love my cats and this blog is now devoted to them.

p.s. could be worse, my dear readers, at least they're not dogs.
